Collection: Photo Plaques

This section includes custom items made directly by using the photo you send us. We take the picture, convert it to a grayscale and use this scale to adjust the depth of carving on each line. Many, Many lines are then cut very closely together and then using a painting or staining technique, your photo is transformed into a visible image on a piece of solid hardwood.

Note: Photos used for this process produce optimum results if the picture has a clear and high contrast, large subject taking up most of the frame. Small details, especially in the background, are not usually captured.

We've also now added a new product range that includes your photo, permanently protected behind a glass-like, crystal clear resin epoxy finish. Of course, we can customize any project to include this!
